...in a very sensitive manner, the music reminds me of urban exploration; it speaks to me of the intricate and necessary relationship between music, math, and architecture, but with a unique focus on what is presently 'lost'.
Lost, as in wholly lost, but fragments, like yellowed photographs with those 'flash' breaks film-makers use between images to evoke a loss in particular memory...
It is the music I have always heard when walking downtown, loving uptown in light-jacket evenings, reminded of that one building between the houses and its bare windows (wychwood), and what it means, and why we forget, and what is memory...
The almost chilling (and meticulously crafted) 'off' keys, repetition and lack of words... that'll do it, walking into the valley, the quarry, to the Don Valley Brick Works on a cool evening. That is to say, if I do not have company -
