Hyper-individualization does not result in hyper-specialization, but in fact, it's opposite. The result is a society of jack-of-all-trades (masters of none), overwhelmed by trivia, toes in too many puddles - resulting in a loss of self, as we become increasingly marginalized and fragmentd, spread thin across far too many networks. We've lost the forest.

myself and a friend create a unique way of carrying his super-powered version of 'tv-be-gone' - mine is small and innocent...his high-powered version is slightly more...conspicuous...
